“The central fire for everyone to congregate around really worked too”
R Field. York

Encourage the kids to leave the computer games at home for a while and breath the air. Discover the joys of Dens, rope swings and imaginative play (ladies you can bring the big boy while you relax as he tends to have just as much, if not more fun)

Think Enid Blyton and the Dangerous Book for Boys, Scouting jamborees, cake, tree houses, bunting, more cake, echoes of our past, all updated with a bit of festival spirit. This is a unique and magical experience, about relaxing and having fun. The woodland is perfect for imaginative play and lasting friendships.

“The kids loved hanging out with others and making friends”
C Owens. Newcastle

Bike Hire

If you do not wish to bring your own, bicycles are available to hire with our local partner. We need 48 hours notice prior to hiring a bike as we do not store them on site. We are very close to the National cycle network route 66 running between York and Hull. We are also about 35minutes from Dalby Forest where there is some great off road biking trails.

“I don’t know who had more fun, the kids or my husband”

Rain Rain go away

Lets be honest it’s England (and a dry bit) however it’s going to rain at some point. Jollydays is equipped for an all weather camping experience. That’s why we have stoves in every tent, wooden floors, a hot shower tent and the communal “tea and cake” lobby tent. There is masses to do outside of camp in rough weather in places such as York close by, or like many, you can choose to stay and enjoy the cosy atmosphere in camp.
